Framed, for a crime that wasn't his,
Sent to prison for no reason,
Only because of this,
He tried to capture Wormtail for his treason,
For killing, for his bad deeds,
Because of power, one of his needs.

So after waiting for all those years,
Sirius Black escaped from that place,
Again he was the object of false fears,
So the Ministry was put to the case,
But Sirius transformed to Padfoot and kept his cool,
For he knew that Wormtail was at Harry's school.

So many things passed, making him wary,
But when the year was near a close,
Sirius was able to see Harry,
And tell him of everything he chose,
Of where he was, what Wormtail did,
Hoping Harry would believe him, which he did.
But Wormtail escaped again,
So Sirius had to hide still,
But now he was a part of Harry's life, a new friend,
Not to mention Harry's godfather, which was James' will,
Finally Harry had family, someone to help him,
But he didn't know that Sirius' future was dim.

For in Harry's 5th year, Voldemort gave him a false sight,
That Sirius was in danger, that he wasn't okay,
So Harry rushed into danger, not knowing the outcomes of the soon-to-come fight,
Sirius came to help Harry, making Death Eaters get out of the way,
Until his dark cousin pushed him, Harry held his breath,
Pushed Sirius into that strange portal, to his death.

Again Harry was left with only the Dursley's as family,
Sirius, his friend, his only link to his dad, had died,
No he thought in anger, or otherwise sadly,
He couldn't be dead, but Harry knew so he cried,
But that be his end, are we now left to mope?
We all look to J. K. Rowling, pleading, that he can come back, everyone's hope.

In memory of Sirius (Padfoot) Black and in hopes that he will someday return.

Sirius

I sit, heavy book in hand.
The book with Sirius's death.
"You can do better than that!"
The best last words.
Anyone could have.

I believe in wishing stars.
I look into the night.
Into the sky so dark.
My eyes flicker.
Searching.

Something moves.
A falling star.
I make my wish.
The only one I may have.
For many many years.

I take a deep breath.
"I wish to see the dog."
Running free.
Down the street.
Once more."

In memory of Sirius Black, who died protecting Harry.

Lily

Some people say
Flowers never die.
They are wrong.
Everything goes.

Some too soon.
Much too soon.
No matter how beautiful
Or important.

Some return again
The next spring.
Others do not.
Such a shame.

The more precious
A flower is
The more beautiful
A flower is

The sooner it goes
That is the way it is
I could change it
If I could.

A lily never stays
A lily doesn't last.
A lily is so precious
And beautiful.

In memory of Lily Evans Potter, who died saving Harry's life.

James

To be a Chaser
You must have speed.
You must be quick.
You must not fumble.

Life is the same.
Have speed in danger
Be quick in battle
Do not fumble.

One small step
Can cost your life
In a battle
Big or small

Protect the ones you love
And you shall rest
Shall you fumble
In a battle.

Don't give up
On anything.
Even if it seems
That you can not win.

True love
Lasts forever
Through thick and thin
Through evil and good.

In memory of James Potter, who died protecting Lily and Harry.

O Sirius Black (Padfoot's Fall)

On that fateful night of October the Thirty-first
He cornered his traitor foe
Accused of thirteen murders in one burst
In Azkaban he stayed with innocent woe

From the icy prison to the Main Land
From Magnolia Street to the Northern Hill
Through potrait paiting and Whomping Willow
To protect his godson he trotted with will

With the trio and werewolf, cat and rat
With family, friends and foes he met
Caught to be sentenced, in a tower he sat
On a Hippogriff's back again he fled

A loyal friend, a noble man
A heart of brave beneath his load
A harshly voice, a barking laugh
A weary Padfoot on the road

A map of Hogwarts four Marauders wrote
Padfoot Prongs Moony and Wormtail
An innocent prisoner in a battered robe
With sentence of the Kiss behind his trail

He stood alone by the archway door
And Darkness and Death both defied
His bark-like laugh echoed no more
Fell through the Veil the Dog Star died

My tribute to Sirius

I remember when, Itwas the four of us,
I laughed when, we would play pranks on Snivellus.
I'll never forget you three,
I'll reveal the truth under the moving tree.
One of our group has left us for another,
One of our group died, he was like my brother,
One of our group was left alone,
And I was locked in a cell of stone.
I finally revealed the lousy rat who caused all the pain,
To our group he is a stain.
I was rescued by my brothers son,
He helped me see the rising sun.
I flew off to the tropics,
My escape was the only news topic.
I couldn't believe the rat brought him back,
Backbone is one thing that guy really lacks.
My old home became headquarter,
For a league known as the Order.
When a battle rolled along,
Well.. awhile later they had to play my funeral song.

You were like a father to me,
Ever since the day,
We set you free.

My head gets dizzy when I hear your name,
I’ve still got Remus,
But it’ll never be the same.

You’ve always helped me in so many ways,
And for that,
I could never repay.

When I felt like I could never be happy again,
You made me laugh,
And took away my pain.

But now you’re gone and you’re not coming back,
This is for you, my friend,
Sirius Black.

With a wrenching soul I raise this quill,
Oh so battered and worn.
I record this of my own free will
Hoping that, the darker the page, the lighter the morn.

Never again to see your smile,
Or hear your barking laugh;
My memories are all I have, while
That's not even half.

You said that we would never part.
That was our solemn vow.
I have a single question and a heavy heart.
All I want to know is: How?

There's only one reason that you would leave.
From this possibility I hide.
I absolutely will not believe
That you, Unbreakable you, have died.

We live we die

I hated him to begin
I loved him in the end

He was big headed
He deflated

He was always in trouble
He tried to behave

I cried
He comforted

He joked
I laughed

I fell
He caught me

We hated
We loved

We lived
We died

Forever and always together....

Sirius Black

Behind the veil,
Swim and sail,
Past all foes,
Who does know
What is there,
What's the where,
Behind the fog,
Where's the dog
Who snatched my heart,
And then did part
With part of me,
Don't you see,
I need him back,
Sirius Black.

Four Marauders

Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, Prongs,
If only I could know how long
It will take for all of you
To die as intended to,
Two of your number already left,
And it seemed like such a theft
Of two such great men,
Friends united once again,
For one marauder, we shall cry
When he has to say goodbye,
For the other we will cheer
That on this earth, he's not here.
Moony howls at full moon,
Prongs, we will join you soon,
Padfoot had untimely death,
Wormtail, breathe your last breath.

Wormtail

Why did it end?
Why didn't I cry
When I betrayed my friends
Made them say goodbye?

Harry, a lone hero,
His parents, in their graves,
Sirius had to go,
Remus, been so brave.

I hear their screams,
When I heard them never,
But in my dreams,
They'll haunt me forever.

After They Died

How long have I stood
In front of your broken door,
This can't be real;
Just a nightmare, like before.

Is this the end?
Are you too far to return?
Our classes are done,
But I've still too much to learn.

Look again, Prongs,
Down at all the misery here...
The past's still not clear...

Why did you leave us when we needed you?
Why did you fly to up above?
Why can't you stay? Your death is like a scar
Branded upon our skin,
From within...
Why'd you leave those you vowed to love?
In the dark jail cell, I feel guilt that's not my own,
This wasn't my fault, but in my heart I feel it was,
Just like love called you and gave you a family,
We were four brothers, never apart because

We were one;
Pranksters with a trace of a heart...
With a world apart...

Why did you leave us when we needed you?
Why did you fly away from all?
Why can't you stay? Your death is like a curse,
That keeps on getting worse...
And worse...and worse...
Why did you leave your friends to fall?

Poem for Padfoot

He was the one who joked and played,
Those memories will never fade,
He was the one who laughed and ran,
He was a funny and energetic man,
Until one day, that miserable and joyful day,
He went to the house and found betray,
He was loyal to the end,
But he was betrayed by who he thought was a friend,
And he was blamed for doing wrongs,
But he did not kill his best friend, Prongs,
He was locked up for 13 years, he wanted to make the
traitor pay,
He slipped through the bars of Azkaban and ran far,
far away,
On his way the truth was soon found,
But young Harry Potter knew not to make a sound,
He, Padfoot, had to go in to hiding,
And for awhile there wasn’t a sighting,
But then, while he was trying to save,
His wrong doing cousin came and gave him grave,
He died to protect, but he was killed by attack,
He was the one so deeply loved, that brave, loyal
Sirius Black.

The ABC's of Treachery

An anguished cry sent into the night
Because you fell, merely stunned
'Coz of your cousin, Merlin I hate her
Destiny' No, but a far more cruel joke
Everlasting dismay, you know he loved you
Friend, my last and best
Gone though that accursed veil

Harry, he misses you terribly my friend
Incredible how it couldn't have been me in your stead
James, he's so much like you
Kreature, that dirty traitor
Lily, I'll keep Harry safe, the best I can
Melancholy doesn't begin to describe it
Not around? Your home is so empty now
Opportunity's wasted; it's far too late
Perfect? Now what am I supposed to do?

Quiet, the silence haunts my dreams
Reluctant though I may be
Still, I think of you Padfoot
'Till death do us part? Why us, why me?
Undulating, that archway should be destroyed
Victorious, you really were, Harry's safe

Well, I just hope I can go on
XXX, I guess you're three strikes were up
Yes, I'll miss you; I loved you like a brother
Z? There's nothing that fits. 'Tis a bitter end

Now my life was written to the ABC's
Sirius, mate, won't you come back and mourn with me?

In Memory of the Mauraders. Take Care of Him Remus.

Sirius!

I’m trying to tell what I feel,
but it’s hard to make it rhyme.
To write this Sirius-poem,
will take a long time.
When I first read about him,
I thought he was a bad guy.
I really hated him,
I wanted him to die.
Then I started to like him,
but I didn’t know him well.
And then I really liked him,
and now I miss him like hell.
He wasn’t my favourite,
but I loved him anyway.
I can’t believe he’s gone,
and I’m waiting for someone to say;
“He isn’t dead, it was a dream”
but I know it isn’t true.
But, Sirius, I have to say;
we all miss you!
Our beloved Padfoot is gone,
and many poeple want him back.
I hope everybody will remember,
the man who was Sirius Black.

Halloween Night

They sat on a couch,
Together, quite scared.
For what was going to take place,
They were not fully prepared.

On Halloween night,
Full of mystery and fear,
Lily and James were in fright,
Lord Voldemort was near.

Lily had dealt with young Harry,
Who was fed and bathed.
He was asleep in his crib,
Safe and unscathed.

James had talked to his friend,
Who had gone into hiding.
With a tearful farewell,
He bid Sirius tidings.

With nothing to do,
They sat down together,
Holding each other tight,
They could fight off whatever.

A noise was made,
The silence was no more.
Lily and James shifted,
When they heard the knock at the door.

On Halloween night,
Full of mystery and fear,
Lily and James were in fright,
Lord Voldemort was here.

James looked at Lily,
With utter dread.
For if they opened the door,
They would surely be dead.

The door burst open,
Not on their accord.
And with a malicious smile,
Came in the Dark Lord.

James motioned to Lily,
To get out of sight,
Because he and Voldemort,
Were going to have an epic fight.

The duel began,
Voldemort suddenly raised his head.
And with a stunning green flash,
James Potter dropped dead.

Lily ran to get Harry,
Locking the door as well.
But before she could close it,
She saw how her husband fell.

She looked at baby Harry,
Whose eyes were flooded with tears.
With a final thought,
She was rid of her fears.

Because in her head,
She thought of a way,
To save her son,
And save the day.

She muttered some words,
And kissed Harry’s little head.
And hoped and prayed,
He would not be dead.

Voldemort then burst in,
Content and well.
Did what he did to James,
And killed Lily as well.

He satisfied himself,
And advanced on Harry,
Meaning to kill him,
But preformed quite the contrary.

On Halloween night,
Many people had cried.
Because this was the night,
Lily and James Potter died.

In blissful memory of Lily and James Potter who died tragically on October 31, 1981

The veil

A dark and misty shadow,
grew upon our lives,
It turned us ‘round in circles,
to our backs, it forced in knives.

The ‘first’ of us was Wormtail,
the pathetic, murderous cad,
Who blamed another of us,
forced him to turn mad.

The second was the seeker,
Prongs, a noble sort,
Who, in vain to save his child,
his life, it was cut short.

The lily of the valley,
with eyes of pretty green,
Honorable member died,
it never should have been.

The mad escaped his prison,
the last met him well,
They found the traitorous bastard,
the truth, forced him to tell.

The rat escaped the mouse trap,
the werewolf and the dog,
Crawled back to his master,
and so begins the fog.

A year did pass in quiet,
till friends did rise in hate,
Fought with conniving eaters,
‘til one fell to his fate.

The veil of misty shadows,
that wrapped us all around,
Did rise itself to greet us,
did dog, horribly, drown.

And now I stand beside this,
empty casket, empty heart,
The two of us still left to fall,
Werewolf, rat...
                         ...apart.

James Potter

James Potter, the one we all know and love,
Is now in the stars and heaven above.
We can't forget that boyish grin,
When he would have a triumphant win.
James Potter died on October 31,
When the Dark Lord quenched his evil thirst.
He defended his wife and son,
When he told them to hurry and run.
James Potter, the one we all know and love,
Is now in the stars and heaven above.

When we’d play pranks?
Boys what happened to the days
When we’d hang Snape buy his underwear?
Boys what happened to the days
When life didn’t seem to matter?
Boys what happened to the days
When we laughed in the face of danger?
Boys what happen to the days
When we were always together?
I’ll tell you what happened to those days
Voldemort came and wrecked them!
I’ll tell you what happened to those days
Lily and James were murdered!
I’ll tell you what happened to those days

Lone One

More than he seems
Been through more than he means
Hard not to journey
Without injury.

Last of the four,
He remains.
Drowning in what he knows is true:
He is alone.

Don't know what he's after
Don't know what he wants.
All is true:
His friends are with him.

Avenge them, Moony.

So many

So many detentions
For four mischievous boys
So many ways
To torture that greasy Snape
So many ways
To try to impress Lily
So many lessons
Spent dreaming of new pranks
So many nights
Of complete mischief
So much joy
When they made their vows
So much joy
When a young one joined the family
So many memories
To share with one another
So much sadness
When they flew up above
So much guilt
On a Padfoot down below
So much fear
In the heart of a new pet rat
So much anger
In an innocent man who blew the bars away
So much stress
On a guilty rat
So much joy
At the thought of no more Dursleys
So much worry
At the thought of one Kiss
So much relief
At the knowledge of escape
So much sadness
When the veil fluttered in place
So much sadness
When the last bit of hope disappeared
So much joy
When the separated were rejoined
So much fear
For who will be next?

Forever

Forever will the wind chimes sway,
Forever, ghosts will drift their way
Forever time will carry on
Forever I know you'll be gone

The time has come, to fade away
You have to leave, you cannot stay
Now everythings, been said, been done
There's no more time to have some fun

The war is now at the peak of power
You stand by yourself, in a lonely tower
The handsome face, once filled with glee,
Now a waste, good looks had fleed

Your memory will stay with me
I hold your heart, and it's key
The good times that we had together
Through thick and thin, all kinds of weather

You've seen the curtains open,
You've seen the play begin and end
you've seen the curtains closing
and you've seen them open, once again

Forever will you be my friend
we had the best of times
when I will come to my end
you'll meet me on the other side

Forever will we be marauders
Forever will we be friends
Forever will we be brothers
Forever until our lives' ends

A special Memorial to our favourite Mischief Makers.

The Homecoming

Up this path I walk again
Fearful, here I come again
This place where I have come again
Never will be home again

Darkness lurks in all the halls
Bones bricked up in every wall
But here I am again.
Shadows to the left of me
Nightmares to the right of me,
Here I am again.

No one ever wanted me
No one now has called for me,
But here I am again.
Passion wakes inside my soul,
Futile in the cold hell-hole,
Here I am again.

Down this hall I walk again,
Weeping, here I come again
This place where I have come again
Never will be home again

Screams are swimming all about,
Air absorbing every shout,
But here I am again,
Echoes of remembered pain
Burn the chambers of my brain
But here I am again.

In the dark I walk again,
Hateful, here I come again
This place where I have come again
Never will be home again

A child walked my every step,
In every room a child wept,
And here he is again.
And though I’m so much older now,
The ashes are no colder now.
Here I am again.

Down this path I walk again
Silent, here I come again
This place where I have come again
Never will be home again.

We need you now

When we think of you a tear comes to our eye,
We never thought i'd have to face the world without you.
Though the last 13 years of your life was nothing but a lie,
We need you now even more then we did before.

You always intervided life life got to hard,
Noone told us who to deal when we lose someone in life.
But you did always know how to play your card.
We need you now even more then we did before.

At least least you can once again be with your friend,
We're sure James and Lily will both be waiting.
And there's the bond there that you can start to mend,
How are you now, can you tell us somehow

In loving memory of Sirius Black who died protecting Harry
May you rest in peace.

Ring-a ring-a roses

What did he think, that fateful night?
Was he afraid for his own life?
His time will end in emerald light,
green, like the eyes of his dear wife.

Strike one, and down goes James

She gave herself, a sacrifice
her blood to wash away their tears
Trapped by her trust, ensnared by lies
Dies bravely in face of her fear

Strike two brings Lily down

A martyr, he’s been crucified
and cried tears that weren’t meant for him
The trusting friend, the fiend who lied
will meet, when life and light grow dim

Strike three, and Sirius falls

And you; you lonesome, scarred man
In deepest darkness and despair
The one who’ll live, the last to stand
looking for friends that aren’t there

Strike four takes Remus’ life

And last the one who brought about
all this with just one single lie
A puppet for his fear and doubt;
the first of them to die.

And we all fall down.

Together for Eternity

A true Gryffindor,
A loyal friend
James potter was there until the end
Protecting his son, his wife, his friends,
The first marauder fell.

Brave and smart, that Sirius Black
He endured years of hell
Just to pull himself through it all
To die for a dead friends son
The second was down and out

Then Remus, a hard working, caring friend
Determined to be the one who pulled through
Fighting in the battle for Hogwarts
He died heroes death
The last true marauder was gone

The last was Peter,
Small and sneaky,
He left, making way for rotten slime
He died before he betrayed and doomed them all to death
The fourth has long been gone

Together once more,
Three friends today
And a long lost fourth
Watching the living they dance and play
Together for eternity

The Last Marauder

The last marauder
The last true friend,
Struggling through the night.
Remus or moony, a friend of the dead,
Left in this awful plight.

For moony Wormtail Padfoot and prongs,
Plus Lily Evans make five,
Five friends, one small family
Torn apart by one of their own

One betrayed by a dear, dear friend,
One protecting a child,
One killed in place of his best friends son
The other must live in shame, he was long since gone

Moony being the last of them
Longs to join them all
But the child whom they were protecting
Is like a son to him

So come on moony do it for us
Protect the ones you love
Avenge the deaths of the ones you love
And put an end to this evil
