As we get closer to the release of HBP, it’s a good time to check up on your order if you preordered your copy online. I ordered through Amazon, which is guaranteeing deliver on July 16th or they will refund your money. I went to check on it online and the order was gone! Of course, I had saved the order number, so after googling for the Amazon.com customer service number, I called to see what was up. Following the automated menus, I was eventually asked for the order number, which I supplied. My order was just fine and still in their system, scheduled for delivery on July 16th.

It’s interesting that it’s not on the Amazon.com site, but because the order number worked and is in the system, I am not concerned. :) It should be in my little hands that afternoon/morning. [I’m guessing it will arrive with the rest of the mail around 1pm. Which is fine since I will be awake around noon. Yay Saturdays!]

If you got your parents to pre-order the book for you, and you’re concerned at all about the delivery date or status of your order, ask them to call and find out. [My boyfriend’s pre-order got lost with Borders last time, I think.] It’s never too cautious to double check. ^^

Hey guys, I know that the urge to IM me–if you’ve found my AIM screenname–is really tempting, especially when I am online at work[9am-5:30pm or so], but please refrain from doing so. I have messanger on to talk to a few people during the day, usually Angie, and also because it’s the fastest way for people to contact me in the event of an emergency. [My cellphone can be unpredictable at times.] Normally I am very busy and can’t really stop to chat for extended periods of time. If you see me online after 6pm, then sure, you can message me, but unless it’s really urgent, don’t message me at work. ^^; Thanks!

Oh, and updates are going to be a little infrequent for the next week or so. The run up to Otakon and Onna is getting tight, with competing projects, so my brain is melting. @_@ I think once I get past most of the art projects I want to get done around the 15th things will be easier. [Then again, there is the HBP cover prize(s) I have to draw, but I will have two weeks to do those after I hit my July 15th deadlines. Mwa!]

I’ve been a little sick lately, so things have been moving slowly. That, and with Otakon AA stuff piling up, along with work for Onna!, it’s been really hectic around here. Oh, and then there was the drama with my bedframe, which is only half here. *sigh* But yes, enjoy the AtM fun-ness. :)
