Sirius: Hurrah! Feast tonight!

James: Now, I love feasts and all, but I’ve got kind of mixed feelings about Halloween, given that I kinda bought it on the holiday.

Sirius: Whatever, Prongs, at least you weren’t killed by drapery.

Remus: Hmm, well it is interesting that Voldie picked Halloween. Maybe he figured he could go door to door trick-or-treating to try and find you and Lily?

James: *imagining Voldemort trick-or-treating* Haha, now there’s a mental image. I hope he’d be in one of those cheesy costumes that you get at a local grocery or something.

Peter: Or he could have thrown a sheet over his head and pretended to be a ghost.

Sirius: *as James answering the door* Aren’t you a little tall to be a trick-or-treater?

Remus: *as Voldie-the-ghost* …no? Now gimme candy.

James: ‘Now gimme candy’? Riiiiiight. Like he would have bothered to ask for any.
