There is an official release date now: Book 6 of the Harry Potter series will be released July 16, 2005.

Robyn: A note to those who have preordered or will preorder. I preordered through Amazon.com, and while it said that the book will not arrive until Monday, July 18th, I tracked down their Customer Service phone number and talk to someone about this. [Hey, I’m paying for overnight shipping here, I want my book July 16th, thanks. ;)] According to them, the shipping plans for the book haven’t even been drawn up yet since the release is in SEVEN months. She assured me that it will arrive Saturday, and if I have any doubts, or don’t hear by June that I will get it on time, I can call them back. Which you know I will. :) But since they got OotP out on time last year, I’m sure that HBP will be in my hands July 16th as well. ^^ Happy preordering!

AtM up for this week. Lots of stuff to hope for in the new year. I had two interviews of sorts in the last two weeks. One with a job I would like to work for, the other with a techie temp agency where I could get contract work. Either way, I hope to be employed in the new year.

Also, congrats to Angie! Graduation banzai! Now you too can struggle with the rest of the working zombies of the world. Mmmmm, brains…. *snickers*
