Except not really. I don’t really blog anymore. >.>

However, people still link this, so I suppose I will use this opportunity to note that I am in the planning/development stages of an art site to replace the top levels of this domain. You can blame Andrew. XD

Maybe I will start using the blog again. Haven’t really decided yet. If I end up using WP for the new site, I may just keep all the blogging over there. I guess we’ll just have to see. >.>

Having a bit of a squee-fit at the moment. It’s hard for me not to bust out dancing with glee, purely because it finally dawned on me that I would be in Toronto in less than 48 hours. Prophecy is finally here, and I’m way too damn excited about it. (I actually kind of feel guilty for being so happy. >.>)

The dress is done. I’m going to be packing and working on the programbook cover for Yuricon’s event over the next two days. I already marked out some of the things I know I want to do at the conference. (Oh god, a wizard rock concert. This is going to be so fabulously ridiculous, I can’t wait. XD) I am bringing the laptop with me, so I will try to document this as best as possible. (Yes, even photos. If I remember to actually, y’know, take pictures. :P I’m so bad with that. Maybe I should let Andrew be the photographer. >.>) I should track down my Gryffindor tie….

(And I should, um, use this more often. Or turn it into something that I would use. I shall have to think on this….)

…except I don’t know what to post at the moment. To your left there you can see Lina, Anand and Andrew with Lina’s birthday cake. Granted her birthday isn’t for another 9 days or so, but she was in the country, so we had to take advantage of that. ;) It’s a tarepanda! Yay!

Other random stuff… Work is hectic. Lots of projects, including the Jewish American Heritage Month portal, that copyright activity thing, various maintenance stuff, and the Law Library conversion. That last thing is kind of big for me, since I’m doing most of teh primary work myself instead of just helping out. So it’s part ‘yay, they trust me to do something big’ and part ‘oh crap, it’s a huge project that I’m responsible for’. Meh… It should be interesting, as it’s a weird timeline, with a deadline of July 12 or something like that. ;_; (Haha, Daddy’s birthday. :P)

Uuuuugh, migraine. So quickly… Going to start my dress for the ball at Prophecy soon. (If Megan’s in town this weekend, we’ll go to the store and get all the materials and start going over how to alter the pattern I picked out.) Andrew and I have officially put up with each other for 4 years now. To celebrate, there was cheesecake. XD I will try to update this blog more since apparently my brother was trying to find it. Have to keep him entertained, after all.

For now, I am going to watch some anime and then go to bed. :P

Blaaaaaaah

I finally have some free time, so to speak. Katsucon is over, went very well, and cosplay didn’t make me tear my hair out. However, I did catch a touch of con plague, which was totally expected, but it’s mostly gone now. Or is at least just a cough for the most part now. Woo.

Actually, this is the kind of sick that I don’t mind. My nose is pretty much clear, and it’s little to no dripping all over the place. A lozenge keeps the throat happy and the coughs at bay, so all in all, not too bad. :D

I bought more copics at the con. Lori is an enabler. :P I shall have to play with them sometime, and see if I can get more of the flesh-tones that I couldn’t find at that table. [I have nearly bought out the ones that my art store has. Boo!] I think I will try doing some art this weekend, just to see what comes out. I’m out of practice with my markers, and I think that’s something I should remedy immediately.

I have found out that Otakon is the same weekend as Deathly Hallows. With all due respect, Otakon, you can go fuck yourselves. XD I’ll be reading all day Saturday, which I’ll probably find to be a far more enjoyable pastime than dealing with the idiots that invariably attend that travesty. I know some friends want to go, and they’re welcome to go. Maybe I’ll even come up for a day, or Saturday night to Sunday, but it would take some really good programming to convince me that $50-60 is not overpriced for the same crap I see at every con. :P

Yeah, I think I’m kind of done with megacons for the most part. What do you think? :P [Katsu is local and I help staff, so I keep going.] Yarr…

Plus, I think we’re trying to get Yankee tickets for sometime in June [we being me and my family], since this is the second-to-last season that will be played in Yankee Stadium. [That, by the way, is so depressing for me. ;_; Part of my childhood, man… But at least they’re getting the 2008 All-Star game! *_*]
